Monacan Powwow

Honoring the traditions of the Monacan Indian Nation, this annual event is usually held the third weekend in May. The goal of the event is to educate families about the tribe’s culture and history in Central Virginia.

This event includes special performances by Native American Singers and dancers from across North America. Featuring Native American crafts and food.

Held in Elon, Virginia

Admission:
Adults – $10
Seniors & age 5 to 12 -$5
Children under 5 enter for free

The location of the Powwow is on Rt. 130, 6 miles West of Rt. 29 in Elon, VA
